Double Draw Artworks is the collaboration of Connie Morrison and Steve Swagerle. We met at Purdue University where we both received our graduate degrees in Art. Our creative partnership began when we moved to Austin, Texas where we showed our work in various galleries over the years. We now live in the Texas Hill Country where we continue to collaborate and share our visions and ideas.

Our passion is painting. Although our primary medium is acrylic on wood panel; we also incorporate a variety of media such as stains, recycled metal and shards in the pieces that we design and make as canvases for our paintings.

Our inspirations come from the beautiful Texas Hill Country, travels in Mexico, jobs in teaching and commercial art and our ongoing collaboration.
